A semi-recent discovery are some underwater ruins found off the coast of Brittany, France in 2017. It is a wall that is said to date back to 5300 B.C.E. This wall was apparently used for fish traps or a shield against rising sea levels. The ruins were probably on Sein Island but since the Island shrunk, the ruins went with it and now sit under about 30 feet of water.
